Hi, I’m Christine

I am happy that you are here! I am a former nurse, turned nutritionist. I first became interested in food in college, where I frequented the farmer’s market on Saturday mornings in the summer. My call to nutrition came much later, after realizing how impactful diet changes were to my own health and well-being. I was able to significantly improve my fatigue, brain fog, and various gut issues that started just after I turned 40, by making changes to my diet. That sparked my interest in functional/integrative nutrition, and the desire to help people who just want to feel well again, like I did. I eventually decided to enroll in a graduate program at the University of Bridgeport. I received my Master’s degree in Human Nutrition in 2023 and am currently working towards my Certified Nutrition Specialist credential.

When I am not working, I enjoy hiking, going for walks, reading a good book, or hanging out with my family and my cats. A fun fact about me is that I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Jamaica, where I provided HIV/AIDS support and education. I met my husband, a fellow Peace Corps volunteer, while we were there!
